The Israel Forever Foundation
Through virtual and local programming, The Israel Forever Foundation bridges the geographical gap, engaging you in enlightening, experiential, and apolitical learning and activism to enhance your connection with Israel and to connect you with others who share that connection in a meaningful way.
We encourage dynamic exploration through content and initiatives that focus on the value of Israel, our ancestral heritage, the importance of her continued existence as a Jewish democratic state, and her significance to both collective and individual Jewish identity.
The Israel Forever Foundation was founded in 2002 by Richard and Phyllis Heideman, active leaders in the Jewish world for many years and tireless Israel advocates. At its inception, their mission was to positively impact Israel’s image in the global arena through recognition of its achievements and contributions to humanity.
Aimed to highlighting of the rich contributions of Israel and the Jewish People to the arts and sciences, history and heritage, and democracy and civilization, the hope was to foster a global exchange of ideas, goodwill and generosity between the peoples of the world and Israel without regard to religion, race or partisan politics.
That same goal continues to be a part of every effort of Israel Forever. In 2011, under the leadership and vision of Dr. Elana Heideman, the organization "re-launched" so as to meet the growing need to deepen the personal connection of the Jewish world with our ancestral homeland.
Through dynamic content and innovative programming, the Foundation has become a primary resource through which individuals, families and communities can celebrate a personal relationship with Israel outside of politics, advocacy, or religious ideology.
Israel Forever has grown into the foremost home for Israel engagement with our global Jewish community of Virtual Citizens of Israel. We look forward to continuing to expand our efforts and impact as we inspire the Israel connection all over the world!
